2008 - The Year of Obedience!
Significance of Number 8- New Beginnings, Circumcision (all Jewish males was to be circumcised on the 8th day)(Lev 12;3)

Purpose of Circumcision:

To cut away excessive flesh to cause one to be more sensitive!

In this Year of 2008 the Year of Obedience, God wants to circumcise His church so that we become more sensitive to His voice. The reason why most people in the church don't obey God is because the majority of the church has to much excessive flesh. We are to fleshly and we must remember that the flesh profit nothing.(John 6:63) It's time to advance the Kingdom throughout this land and begin to TAKE OVER like our original mandate declares. (Gen 1:28)

Let the Lord have His way in your life so we can begin to walk worthy of our calling. Obedience brings prosperity, we have been trying to experience prosperity without first obeying. When we obey God we will live our days in prosperity and our years in pleasures. May you experience the favor of God like never before in this year of Obedience. Jesus said, if you love me you, keep my commandments. (John 14:15)  It's time to show our love to our soon coming KING!

2009 - The Year of Birthing -

Significance of Number 9 - Birthing, Fruitfulness, Finalty-(Matthew 27:45-50)

2008 put us in position for God to birth things in us in 2009. Now that God has cut away excessive flesh so that we are more sensitive to His voice. He's ready to birth things in us that will bring glory to Him. Lets take a look at this scripture in the old testament.

I Samuel 1:v2-28 - This text is talking about the birth of Samuel. First of all Hannah was not ready to have children so God shut her womb. That's right God shut up her womb so she couldn't give birth. Hannah only wanted children because Peninnah had children. Elkanah is a type of Christ and Hannah is a type of the church and Penniah is a type of  the false church. Elkanah gave Peninnah and her children a portion but gave unto Hannah a worthy portion. The bible said, Elkanah loved hannah. Notice , He loved her even though she didn't produce anything. We think what we have or what we do determines our relationship with God. Elkanah said unto Hannah am I not worth more to you than ten sons. In other words, God wants us to love Him more than what we have or can produce. 2008 was a year in which God had to cause our womb to be shut because our heart was not right. 2008 revealed to us things that was in us that we had to deal with. If we would have been able to give birth in 2008 than what we would have birth woud have been in the flesh. Therefore, 2008 was a year in which God humbled us, proved us to show us what was in our heart. Now that we have allowed God to deal with us, we are ready to give birth to everything God has promised us this year. Everything Hannah went through brought her to a place where her heart became pure. It made her cry out to the Lord. She also promised to give back to God what she would give birth to. Now, she was ready to give birth and she did give birth. Most of all she kept her promise to God and she gave her son back to God. Saints, get ready to give birth to that which you have always desired. Thank God for shutting up our womb it cause us to see ourselves. Whatever we give birth to this year will bring glory to God. This year will be a year of fruitfulness like never before.
